David Douglas
Executive Director at St. Therese Institute of Faith and Mission
I firmly believe that nothing in the Church's teachings should be inaccessible to lay Catholics.
That is why I have spent the past 4 years learning how to teach Spiritual and Moral Theology in a simple and approachable way. This includes but is not limited to:
Grace
Virtue
The Structure of Man
(how we are designed, body and soul)
It's not enough to understand theology, you also need to understand how and why what the Church teaches is good for YOU.
How does it benefit you?
How does it impact your relationships?
How does it impact your daily life?
My years of experience and education in Psychology gives me a unique lens on the tangible, physical and relational, ways that grace and virtue can change your life.
Knowledge does not equal transformation.
I integrate the teachings of the Catholic Church with science of psychology to create
Simple. Concrete. Actionable Steps
that are easy to implement once you get home.
No more guess work
No more overwhelm
Clear Expectations

There is no better feeling than leaving a conference with concrete solutions for making lasting positive changes in your life!
That is why I keep my sessions practical, starting with a foundational understanding of WHY the Catholic Church Teaches what it does on Grace and Virtue and always ending with HOW to apply this new understanding to your life, and most importantly, how to make it last.
